As early as 1836, the townspeople of Jasper, Georgia have been quarrying a rare strain of pink marble referred to as Cherokee Marble.

The Johnson Studio designed the space with a nod to the region as well as to the forward-thinking menus provided by the culinary team. The structural columns and tabletops of One Flew South™ have been constructed of this indigenous material. The flooring and ceiling are native heart pine. A Georgia forest photo-mural serves as the backdrop to a 30-foot pine and Cherokee marble sushi bar.

The restaurant enjoys semi-privacy from passersby through a slatted wood plank wall. The buttery white leather seating is equally luxurious. An 18-foot marble back bar greets solitary diners and provides an ample perch while waiting for prepared food-to-go.
